ridiculous, but our chaps heard him & my word if they didn't give them something & followed these two roosters up too, & they both called on two Military Police to arrest them but our chaps warned them first & the next minute there was someting doing & I fully thought the officers were going to get mixed up too but they slipped off, and each minute several more of our boys came up & stood by but the crowd soon melted as soon as the storm was over, but it was will just show you what it is like over here, & if you were here you could see it every day in the week.

There are fifteen German submarines in the bay which have been captured by means of some new system of big wire nets & in other places on the coast there are I believe plenty more but this is being kept out of the press.  A skipper of a mine sweeper told me all about this at a house I visit here in Weymouth & he told
