sorry for lots as some of them have missing limbs & eyes gone & other things which the doctor has marked as unfit for further service.
Just after we left for Egypt I made a bet of 5/- with one of our chaps that we wouldn't be far away from Australia by next Christms, this one coming & I dont think I will be far out, but I wont get my 5/- as the poor chap stopped one & was killed outright.
Next Monday week is a big holiday here as it is bank holiday & there are two of us here who are going up to London as there is something doing in the way of a picnic to a place called Bush Hill Park, it is a lovely place & I stayed there two days when on furlough.
