for all returned men - Anzacs, but as I have volunteered for guard on board I wont be able to get up there.

Am full of being here & will be glad when we leave for the "Old Dart".

I wish you would send that old tunic of mine to England, the one that came back from Egypt & send it to the London Post Office so as I can call for it.

I have got very few things as they are all in bag at home, but I am sure to get something in England.  I have already scored 2 pr sox & a beautiful muffler so that will do me.  We leave tonight & go to Capetown but wont be surprised if we dont get ashore there as shall only be there a few hours.

Things are very dear here much more than Sydney, but the people cant do enough & you should
