Still no letters I suppose the fish are reading them.
A big Cunard Liner was sent to the bottom with a big mail from Australia via America, and I'll bet anything there were some of ours. I got a post card yesterday from Australia yesterday and it was numbered No. 7 but I never had any previous numbers to this one.
I can talk now & I haven't knocked of [off] yet talking as it is a treat to be able to.
The weather is not as bad as a few weeks ago, but the roads are awful and tonight just after tea thirty of us had to go along the road to help get a big motor waggon out which was bogged up to the axels, it was coming from the station with a load of gear for this camp, and when we got it out & reached camp again you couldn't see us for mud & the major said we needn't turn to
