& trust you will get same safely.
I have a fair pass tonight so I want to go down to see Miss Skelton on the Indarra which arrived today.
I met Mrs Henry yesterday & her two da daughters who brought up plenty to eat & had a fine spread out and all in the dust which flew in crowds all day as it blew hard.
I have rooted out plenty of people I knew & I am getting the week end next week and stopping till Sunday night with people I knew a long while ago and are living at St. Kilda, so it will be "snift" as it is such a nice place & will be a change from this terrible place. I forgot to tell you wr that I got Yvonne's nice sensible letter & I'll have to drop a line next mail.
I'm going with Henry down to St Kilda tonight right after going to the Indarra to some of his friends & I suppose we will get back in the early hours of tomorrow morning as the last train leaves Melbourne for Essendon at 10 oclock which is a six walk but might hook on to a goods train like we did once before. You spoke about an operation but I'm just not going for any such thing
