as the 13th are out to beat all the others & will do so too.
The sports went off very successfully & wish I had stopped to see it instead of going to my friends at St. Kilda & as I foretold many prizes came to N.S.W. for they won the band race, marching contest, signalling race tug of war & several foot races. I will send the paper when the chap comes round showing what the good old N.S.W. khaki boys can do .
We are all waiting for the paper man who so far hasn't turned up & its now 10.30 am.
There was a nasty accident in the scenic railway at Luna Park & I reckon I am jolly lucky to be under this bit of canvas to-day, as one of the little cars which run over the rails had a collision & I believe there were 17 killed & a few injured, & I only came off one of these joy rides exactly 20 minutes before the accident happened, & we were watching some
