on a Boat Roll D28 otherwise the P & O Branch Line Steamer Borda so I had a pleasent surprise awaiting me on my return to Weymouth. On October 20th we left Weymouth a place which I rather liked it has such a nice climate & a beautiful horse-shoe bay with a lovely promenade & a nice select crowd go there for their holidays. On our way to the station we were all happy & folks wished us a happy Xmas. We were going to a country where there was sunshine & plenty of food no wonder they wished us a happy Xmas although I have had meals with people in Weymouth who willingly shared what little they had with us. The camp dog led the boys to the station where we entrained for Plymouth. Our train stopped at Exeter where we were given tea & current
