good one. I went on to Ledringhem & then to Arneke & saw my brother in law & spent a pleasant afternoon with him. At our present billets we had a bon time tons of leave & we went to most of the towns nearby. So you will quite see how sorry we were when the time came for us to leave, the weather was now fine & the offensive in the Ypres sector was to be continued. So on Sept 17th we left Racquinghem for Belgium I went in an ambulance with the Colonel, both the other Corporal cooks were on leave so I had quite a lot of work to do. We took over a Rest Station near Poperinghe called Remy Siding there were four C.C.S.s near us & we had quite an experience here, first of all
