was frozen, so at any rate our enemy the mud  would be missing. So on Jan 14 we left the Chateau marched to  Flesselles where we entrained for the Somme. We detrained along the line near Heilley & marched to Ribemont where we were billeted at the Mills, & for the next three days we had a good time along with the 14th F.Amb. We did a bit of ratting with the dog & I think it great sport. Left Ribemont Jan 17. and arrived at a rest station run by the 15th F.Amb. at Becordel.  We only stayed here one night so on Jan 18th we left to take over the Main Dressing Station at Bernafy Wood.  Where we arrived at 2 PM.  same day. I might tell you now we were all attached to the 15th Field Ambulance for duty. Our dressing station is much better than the Thistle Dump dressing station there were also
