we will remain at this post long as another A.D.S. is very close to this one. I saw several dead horses, which seems as if the horse regiments have had a rough time out here. The shell fire is very heavy on the other sector while we were picking rhubarb. Fritz shells are coming over to us & our shells are going over to Fritz & we in the middle are quite safe.
on May 14th I went to B Sections A.D.S. & from there I went back to the main dressing station as they were shorthand there. I was placed on night work & got many a beautiful display of fireworks of all colours from Fritzs lines. You know all about Bullecourt from the papers . Some of the boys had a rough time there, but in our new camp we had a better time. One of our aeroplanes
