shaving brushes, combs tooth brushes & tooth paste, pocket handherchiefs chocolate & etc also we got papers such as the Sydney Bulletin, Punch Age, Argus, Telegraph & Herald, & many other Australian papers which we were thankful to receive we also had concert partys held in the ward & services, one here must not forget a kind word & a War Cry from the Salvation Army lass. I had plenty of visitors to see me & plenty of new laid eggs from my people, which I shared with a Canadian along side of me. I also got a lovely parcel from Aussie & we had a little feast amongst the Aussies six in number then another Aussie got a parcel result another feast. The nurses seemed surprised to see such big parcels from Australia & declared that Swallow & Ariels biscuits
