& sailors Yanks & Australians & a few New Zealanders. I wanted to see the Forth Bridge also the Tay Bridge, so I caught a train to Aberdeen the llimit of my pass. I thought both the Forth & Tay Bridges wonderful pieces of engineering. I made friends with a Scotch lady & got her a cup of tea at Dundee & she gave me some shortbread cakes such as Scotch folks can make them. We arrived at Aberdeen about 5.30 pm I could live here as the further North I went the further I wanted to go, I only spent a few hours in Aberdeen as I was on a flying visit It's seems to be a granite city. I had two Scotch girls to see me off back to London on the train, I certainly cannot say I saw anything much while I was up there I
