I can honestly say it was the hotest place the Aussies had been into so far. We had a concert & a few games of football & we had plenty of work to do as it was a divisional rest station we we at but for Fritz dropping bombs it was very good. I saw several fine concert parties round about Poperighne which we exceedingly good. The weather was getting cold now so we had the winter ahead of us.
We left Remmy Siding on Nov 13th with a new Colonel LtCD Makin of the seventh F. Amb, & a dog Jack who was a fine ratter who lived on Ma'c'honies Rations. As usual we got lost in a car & we went round Plugstreet near Amentiers in fact we toured France & Belgium for four hours till at last we found our
