English Waacs & shouted all kinds of nasty things to my army girl & myself which we took no notice off as one cannot understand their French too well. It was a lovely evening in Boulogne &  I felt sorry to leave my waac who said she did not like moonlight nights as the Huns generally bombed them.  

I left Boulogne at 8 pm a la motor lorry. 11.30 pm Boulogne was duly bombed by the Huns & much damage done. My Waac was not hurt although several people were killed that night. Scotty had arrived back from Scotland after having a great holiday so he & I took several long walks together. Once we nearly walked to Boulogne & on our way home we met a crowd of French folks
