a good look round, a nice hot bath & clean change. Nearly everybody speaks English well here & while a boy of 12 years of age was cutting my hair, he politely told me my hair was going on leave which of course meant coming out, so I gave him 3d for his information. I arrived back in camp tired after a pleasant time in Boulogne.
Jan 12th our Unit Canteen was broken into & £19-0-0 worth of goods were stolen, lost but not forgotten
Jan 25 I again visited Boulogne & had a real good time there. Just a W.A.A.C. & we spent the afternoon together. Visited the Cathedral of Notre Dame not a patch on the Amiens Cathedral still it was very nice. I went for a nice walk past the Casino & the French girls seem very jealous of the
