We, that is my Scotty mate & I left Youngstreet at 8 am Dec 17 for a place near Boulogne in a motor lorry. The weather was vey cold & we had over 80 kilos journey to cover before dark, & after nearly freezing we arrived at an unforsaken hole called Wirwignes near Boulogne nearly perished with the cold poor Jack the dog was with us, shivered himself to a sweat we unloaded the lorry in a snow storm & almost every swear word we knew we used & even invented some of our own.
