wouldn't take any fancy job as I realised I can do just the same as the next one to without any handles on my name.  I came away just to do my bit & finish & then go on as before the war started.

Sometimes I think I will take some of these jobs that are so numerous at present but I change my mind  & seem quite contented with my lot.

I dont know how long I will be stuck in that d-d hospital but I wrote to Alexandria for my letters when I knew I was being kept here, but since I have schemed a plan to get over there instead & I am sure it will work as I have two uniforms & a pair of civilian clothes & I know a man on one of the Orient boats which leave London shortly & I am going to give them a run for their "doe".
