It is very cold down here as it is blowing a cold wind with plenty of dust & we shall all be glad the day we leave this rotten hole.
We have been issued with all our complete kit now, this is what each man received 3 prs drawers, 3 woollen singlets, 3 flannels, 3 sox "Bally clever" cap brush comb razor tooth brush darning wool needles & cotton buttons 2 cholera belts & several other things. The whole eleven thousand who are here at the present time are going to have a march through the city on the 10th of December.
This will be a great camp in size when all of the troops are collected as there are thousands of men who are on the way down from other states, besides, Albert park & the domain which are chock full now. The most awful thing about
