I can safely say the boys enjoyed their dinner but I do not think it as good as our Anzac Day dinner. We also had a good tea as we had Four Baths of Jelly & Custards besides two bucketfulls of tea by this time our hospital had over 200 patients & I can tell you the cooks had to work  I think Daunt, McFadyen & Dundas did a great amount of work to make the day successful from my point of view, & the cheers that were given for the cooks after dinner showed the mens appreciation. That night we were given a good concert by our Concert Party called the Night Birds & so the day finished with cocoa &  biscuits in the Interval, & stewed apples what were left over from tea.  Next day in Orders Part 2 we were thanked by the O. C. after he had come to see us personally
