book on the good time I had in England but I will not dwell long, as leave is not Active Service so I will skip a little The reader can guess what a time I had at home after service in France. on Dec 28th I left Brighton for London after visiting my brother at Newhaven a seaport 8 1/2 from Brighton who was on war work.  

On Dec 29th I thought I would like to visit my mates people in Glasgow so I decided to catch the train to Glasgow at 11.50 from Euston. Who should I meet on the station was Scotty himself a million to one chance. he was going home on leave but unlike me the canny Scot got in a day before his leave started & was travelling in the Armys time so you can guess we
