Turkey. The Rest camp is situated where all is quiet with a Greek village or two roundabout. The climate is grand & they're giving us fair food, fresh meat, eggs, vegetables etc, quite a change from the hard fare at Anzac. Not but that is was was badly needed, as everyone was rather seedy.I daresay you know that John contracted Rheumatic fever after being in the firing line for a couple of months. I had the good luck to see him several times, good luck insomuch that he is in a different Division & miles away, & while being sorry to hear that he was ill, I was also pleased to think that there was only one of us, instead of two, likely to be bowled over at any moment.
