make himself so agreeable as he did. After the opening ceremony, tea was served in the school, & after tea a concert was given, which proved very successful. During the months of last winter Ambulance classes were held in Glen Mona & of cause Mother & I joined. It was very interesting learning how to administer "first aid" to the injured, & all about the structure of the human body. At the close of the classes an examinations was held, & needless to say, both Mother & I had a try for it, & wonderful to say, we both passed. This winter I hardly know what we will go in for to help the time over. But seeing we are in Douglas & belong to a parish with a large portion of poor people in it, it is quite possible I at last in go in for church work.
Well now: when are you coming to see us I wonder, we often talk of you all, & I wish we lived somewhat nearer, so that we could talk to you as well.
Mother sends her best love to you all & hopes you are all well; Father also wishes to be remembered to you. And now I will have to stop this scrawl & wish you good-bye for the present.
Please give my fondest to all, not forgetting yourself.
Believe me ever your loving Cousin,
Marie Rose Livesey.
