What do you think of the picture in the enclosed Almanack? I consider it rather cute... eh! 

My dear Cousin...

I believe I promised to write you in the course of a few days when compiling my last letter... and here it is, some weeks later. I'm sorry, Harry, not to have kept my word; but what a number of things do crop up in a house to prevent one following their inclinations don't they?

Well, and how are you getting along we wonder! When last you wrote us you were suffering from headaches and head-colds, you say. I wonder how that is; as I remarked in my last letter, you'll have to be taking better care of yourself, else your parents will be losing your care and attentions just when they need 'em the most. Surely you're not suffering from nerves, mon ami. 

At the moment we are beautifully messed up in a most glorious "strike". Coal strike at that. Only for the suffering brought upon humanity thereby; these strikes would figure as huge comedies. 'Tis so absurd for big, grown men to down tools just because they can't have all their own way, eh. 

Of course there is much to be said in the
