to England on Monday next, March the 3rd... Mrs Chapman, my Auntie of Southport fame, is taking me to the "Hydro" at Matlock for a few weeks. Its rather a swell place, too... full dress for late dinner, and all that sort of thing... I like the classy set - so ought to have a good time!
We all keep more or les as usual. Grandma Livesey is still alive and kicking... She is failing though I think... She was 91 last Thursday... Of course she will not leave us ever again - we have agreed to look after her and remain with her till death gathers her upon himself.
You must ensue a longer letter this time, Harry. I'll write you again when in England. I'm tired tonight - its taken a lot of work getting clothes prepared for my forthcoming trip.
All join in love to all
Mother will write your mother soon.
Au revoir
Marie.
