Dear Cousin Harry

You will think me very unkind for not writing to you before, & I am afraid I have no real excuse to offer. However now that I am writing I trust you will forgive me.

You will see by the above address that we are once more living at the Athol. We came in a great hurry about the middle of August; the most busy part of the season. But knowing the house so well, we were not long before we set things going in the old way. The season has been very wet here, which of cause has been greatly against the Island as a holiday resort. For my own part I have had a very jolly time this summer, having met some exceedingly nice people, who have given me a good time. Last April I went across to the mainland for a fortnights holiday. I stayed in a little village called Neston. It was quite a country place, but within easy reach of Liverpool, Manchester, Chester & North Wales, all of which I visited. I think my
