There is nothing more necessary for me to say, save that letter came right from the heart and soul of you, I know. Every word I appreciate and thank you for a thousand times over. It was penned from your natural self - and proves your understanding I fervently thank you, you dear, never to be forgotten champion o' mine.
The "Prints" came to hand today. Taken on a whole they are not so bad. It may be some little time before I get my reel developed, but will not forget to send along those that differ from your own.
I had a letter from your brother George on Monday. He talks about Australian girls with much pride. He also sent me a sprig of Wattle from your garden. It looks very pretty, doesn't it? (I wrote to your people yesterday. Addressed it to your Mater.)
