foot of our only mountain, "snaefell", & reaches down to the sea. Well; the farm which my father has taken is perched on the top of one of the hills to the north of Laxey & overlooks the entire valley. But Laxey is not a small village now, it is quite a town, so is of cause very convenient for your Auntie Jennie to shop in. When my Dad takes up a new interest of this kind he is very lavish, & he is stocking the place thoroughly with the very best of everything he can buy, so I think Auntie is really very lucky to get such a good start, & ought to get on well, as they have only one little boy to look after (I will enclose his Photo). And I really must tell you something of ourselves now. As I supose you will know my mother is only a little woman about five feet, nothing more, & fair in colouring. I am afraid I do not resemble her much as I am bigger & stouter in every way, & more inclined to be dark. In build I take more after my Dad, who is big & broad; but in colouring, Mother says I am just like what your Grandma used to be. I have not got a nice Photo of myself just now, or I would send one, but as soon as I have one taken I will not forget you.
