Heavens! I must say you Aussies don't believe in wasting much time once you do get married... Lily and George have proved no exception either... I suppose they are very happy in the possession of a son... I guess I should be a-wanting a wee respite ere I gave myself to child-bearing did I ever become a wife but let them be doing... The T.T. motor-cycle races are being run here on the Island just now. Tuesday the Juniors were running... and today finishes it up with the seniors... The parson man had gone today to "Sulby" to see em, but none of we others have been... Father does not care about them, mother does not believe in racing - I me'ums didn't feel disposed to take the trouble to get off so early in the morning as would have been necessary.
