If ever we should pop in unexpectedly to see you at Manly, you need not be very surprised, for my Father is daily talking of taking a trip out to your country. But of caurse if it ever comes to pass remains to be see.

Dear Cousin Harry,

You will think I have taken long enough in considering answering your letter; but really the time slips over so quickly, & there is such a great deal to attend to in a house, that I have been putting it off from day to day awaiting a good opportunity & now I feel thoroughly ashamed of myself for keeping you waiting so long.  Until receiving your letter we had no idea that you had moved to Manly Beach, in fact, "Mother" says she really was not sure where you were. From Mothers description of it, I think Manly must be a very nice spot; particularly as there seems to be plenty of boating; of which I am very fond. We have a sailing & rowing boat which we keep on the beach here. It is about a mile & a half down to the sea from our house, & most of the way we go through a beautiful wooded Glen until we come to a fairly good sized beach let into a pretty crescent shaped bay, out of which we row into the
