I did not - Church is too unfairy-like for this chick... I'd a real good read before the fire instead - & enjoyed it very greatly!

By the way, have you heard anything more yet of Jennie Lawton's father's proposed marriage? I was greatly surprised to hear from Jennie this Xmas. She sent me a letter, card; and a wee hankie of silk... But she made no mention whatsoever of her father marrying again.

Mother heard from John, too; one day this last week.... So it looks as though they were to wend their way into our favour again.

Don't blame Dave for being strange friend... He is highly strung, a man with a temperament... and more to be pitied than blamed... I know - I too am cursed with temperament... How is Dave these latter days...

All here join me in best love and remembrances to yourself, your parents, and all the young married people, or otherwise, belonging you.

May 1921 prove a year of much happiness and satisfaction to you one and all....

Love and fond remembrances.

Marieeeee
