my knowledge. She does not speak of writing you until after the letter is stamped & sealed, as a rule. I know not one word of what she may have written today - so please lay no store by hints dropped that way.

Mother would tell you we have Grandma Livesey here, I suppose? She is such a funny old soul; not altogether mistress of her own mind & brain; yet she has flashes of intellignece which are most surprising to behold!... Grandma's maid makes herself quite useful in the house - which is a help.

Lately we've been kept fairly busy but on the whole have had rather a good time... Personally, I've been quite enjoying myself popping about here, there & everywhere! The weather is splendid too - & we spend glorious afternnons on the lawn drinking tea, taking "snaps" etc.

You funny boy; fancy worrying about us here because Influenza is bad in Sydney. Good heavens above! isn't the flue more likely to affect you than [indecipherable] where 'tis raging in Aussie & not here? You take care of yourselves - we're alright... we know when its time to give in - when you drop -- not before, eh!!!
