My dear Harry
We were so pleased to hear from you this morning. What a happy thought, to write whilst waiting to sail. Sorry you arrived at station so much too soon but I was uncertain about the accuracy of our clocks and, so long as you had to leave that day, did not wish you to be late, or hurried, in catching the train.
We are awfully glad you were happy whilst here. Harry, lad, if my simple camaradorie gives you any satisfation it is yours to the end.... I only wish I could assure you of a deeper feeling.... Do we accompany you on your return to Aussie or no --- fate will decide. We'd got along quite nicely as brother & sister you & I, don't you think...Personally I hardly credit my parents & I will will journey to your sunny South with you in company. Still - one never knows..
We've had a busy time today cleaning out the Kitchen. Mrs [indecipherable] came up to help us... and with her help we got along like a house on fire... Another day or so will finish the business, I guess.
We have missed you. The house does seem so
