I'm sorry Etta's ideas and your mothers so clash... But even if the younger generation is hotheaded, surely they are entitled to individuality... Were I in Aussie, I'm afraid all of Etta ideas would not clash with mine. The more highly developed the brain the less inclined to submit to law and order, you know!
We intend starting the spring time housecleaning this coming week.... Oh dear! it will be a terrible trial. I have to be careful nowadays too... Whilst I was in Southport I went under the medical examination of a womans specialist - and now I do know what it really is that ails me --- and its nothing either you'uns or your Aunt even dreamed of, or could prescribe for.... And its going to take a long time to make me strong.... I have had a good idea all along what ailed me - and my idea proved correct.
For the present idieu, my Cousin... As soon as mother is well enough she will be replying to your letter to herself...
Give my love to all in Aussie who are connected with us or interested in our family...
Hope you yourself will soon be feeling more fit.... Love...
As ever
Marieeeee
Please give Ida my congratulations
