My dear Harry...
Our big general "strike" hasn't come off after all... so there is no reason for undue delay in postal matters as expected.
I'm sorry things are not going as well as usual just now, Harry. I know what it is trying to level up things in the home... No easy task. I hope all will straighten out a bit before so long, for your sake.
Uncle will certainly have to take care. It is very unwise to enlist the services of any "Quack" unless one can see for oneself, that the theory is logical. Personally, I cannot see that a reduction in substance would be likely to prove any advantage to a rheumatic subject... Take heed, mon ami, and avoid those things likely to some day bring you to semalar pass.
So sorry to hear about your mother, too. But, of course, with necessary care, heart affected people often struggle on into a ripe old age... Cheerio! Both your parents may live to surprise you by a sturdy improvement - now they are past the climaxal age.
