to cover my nakedness; the means of cleanliness and neatness - and "fairies"... And there is nothing more in life I should or could require... But unfortunately, fairies will fail to find a place in a life that holds nothing but the struggle for existence against necessity, or passion for things that make for mundane pleasures and comforts only. No; faires are a world unto themselves... and but a chosen few can scale the dividing line...
The pictures sent are very beautiful... We all were most interested; and spent [indecipherable] greater part of the afternoon of Xmas day admiring 'em and conversing upon their beauty.
All goes along more or less as usual. Your Grandma, Auntie Jennie, Uncle Harry, Cousins George and Jack, are all well, and so far as I am aware, quite merry & bright.
My Grandma Livesey is still alive. She spends the greater part of her time in bed now. But She may live into another summer.
Mr. Gregson has a motor car. A Ford... one of their latest design... And we often go out in it along with him. Last night, mother and Dad accompanied him to Church.
