Very Dear Brother,
     We are just informed that the Cyclops Captn Nichols, is going to New Holland and the South Seas. We glady avail ourselves of the opportunity by sending you some account of the State of the Redeemer's Kingdom in this part of the world. it seems a long time since you had the pleasure of hearing from you. Be assured your communications will be highly interesting to us. Nothing is so gratifying, or beneficial to us, as information from distant parts of the world respecting that Kingdom which shall put an end to al the miseries that mankind is the subject of.
    Several have lately been added to the Church with which we are connected, at Calcutta. The preaching of the world continues to be pretty well attended, and we hope it is the power of God until Salvation to many. Our ? native > whose ? is ? is ? in this city - it is very active to the cause of our Lord, and meets with much excitement. ? frequently send for him to ? and explain the world to their famlies - have lately had a number of enquiries. some of these are often found to be ? or persons of a have settled with their friends. those of the ? a day or two generally go away but some of this description has been affected with the world and have embraced the Gospel. we have lately ? or ? of the name of ? on a profession of his faith in church some of those who have joined the Church of Calcutta are from the Armenian and Roman Catholic
