I wrote to you by the Speke, but since
she sailed the Sydney has arrived and I have received your first Letter sent by her - I am fully persuaded you will do all that you can to promote my Interest, and on that account give myself no concern about my affairs in N.S. Wales - I had heard about my sheep having the Scab, but that
might be without any neglect - I know Accidents will happen where there is the greatest Attention paid. I will not be disposed to put confidence in vague reports. My knowledge of mankind
