Dear Sir

I was much disappointed in not hearing from you by the Star. The only letter I received was from Messrs Bayly & Abbott. No vessel has arrived since the Star from Port Jackson, but we expect the [Correspondence?] daily. I have seen Mr Burder very often, and delivered to him your desk - he is a very excellent pious man. I have been down in Yorkshire, but could only stay a few days my Business required my Attention in London. I left Mrs Marsden in Hull, and did not see her for three months. She arrived in London on Saturday last again. I intend to leave town in about ten days if possible having got on very well with my Affairs with Government. Two Clergymen were ordained on Sunday last who will come out before, or with me when we return. I am now looking out for another two or three Schoolmasters I hope to meet with, who will be very useful in the Colony - if proper men can be found who will go.
