that the Military seized all Govenor B. papers both - private and Public and in the evening being at the Judge Advocates house a Sergent guard was placed over it and about -8  oclock Lieutn Lawson Mr Gregory Blaxland & Mr Thos Hobby came to the Judges house and I saw those gentlemen Rifle the draws and seize the Judges papers, as Mr Hobby was going out of the house he said that he would shew me a paper that the Inhabitants was signing for the arrest of the Govr - and in an hours time he would bring it me - which is an additional proff that the Inhabitants are not to be blamed - and those persons signing the paper to arrest the Govr after he was deposed can be no justification of the act before committed.

Richd Atkins Esqr Judge Advocate is suspended from that office Edward Abbott Esqr is appointed Judge Advocate during his suspension Anthony F Kemp Esqr John Harris Esqr Thos Jinnerson Esqr Charles Grimes Esqr Mr Minshin Esqr John Blaxland Esqr & Alix Bell Esqr  are all appointed magistrates - and those persons who have heretofore performed the duties of that office are to consider themselves - dismissed.  Lieutn  Lawson is appointed Aid de Camp to his honor the Lieutn Governor Mr Baley Esqr is appointed Secretary to His Honor  the Lieutn Governor and to be [indecipherable]
