We wrote to inform you of the state of the Mission at Otaheiti and mentioned the different articles lent to the Bretheren & the disbursements occasioned thereby - by this conveyance we have nothing new respecting the State of the Mission as we have had no arrivals from them since our last accounts to you we wish and find it a pleasure to transmit all the information we can - that we think will afford the best satisfaction to our dearly beloved Friends in England -

For these last six months we have endeavoured greatly to dispense the word of life in the district of Portland head is situated near one of the extremities of the banks of the River Hawkesbury where the Settlers have been very attentive & come forward by subscription to Erect an house for the worship of God and a schoolroom with the assistance of a few gentlemen there is nearly £200 subscribed towards defraying the expense of the building.
