Onslow - of his amicability & other estimable qualities, we have heard much, & you, yourself having been for so many months in close association with him, can of course have had the best opportunity of forming a judgment upon these important [indecipherable] of his disposition and character - One old acquaintance Mr. Hood (who himself is lately again married) wrote to tell me, that almost his last day in Australia was spent at Camden & that you were all looking very well.  You ae at this moment, I dare say, panting with heat, whilst we are passing thro' a season of almost unprecedented severity.
