favourable attention to the following case of a resident in this place who has been known to some members of my family and assisted by them during our occasional visits here. Solely an account of her age and respectable conduct in very straightened and exception circumstances likely to become almost those of absolute destitution except from periodic
relief to which she and her husband scarcely now capable of any efficient work, have as yet never had recourse. I have requested Mr Avery, for many years the clergyman of this place
to prepare me an exact account of the parentage
and history of Mrs [indecipherable] the individual in question. The point to which I venture to draw your attention is that the late Mrs Macarthur and Mrs  [indecipherable] were sisters children affectionately known to each other before Mrs  M. left England but having since had little communication. x _____x____x Mrs. [indecipherable] has lately heard that Lady Parker and yourself had been at Bridgerule and he hopes have been excited that still in some way the knowledge of herself and her condition might be brought before you for some little advantages to herself if you should take a kindly ompassionate  view of them.
