communion table & altar rails ought to be placed there --- & ----.  I think that I have mentioned would take £100. But my [indecipherable] head is from home so I can only tell you this from former calculations we have made on the subject --- & ---.   I can only thank you very much for thus remembering the Church, and for proceeding to interest yourself in it on your return to Australia.

---X --- I met Sir Thomas Acland yesterday who asked me for your address as he said he wished to write to you about a first Cousin of your Mothers' now living at Bude who had heard of your visit to Bude & wished she could have seen you, for she said she remembered your mother well & had very nearly gone out to Australia with her.  Sir Thomas who interests himself warmly about every one at Bude & indeed I may say in the wide world spoken so kindly of Mrs. [indecipherable] & said he must wrote to you --- x ---.
