This is the last will and testament of me, Elizabeth Macarthur, of Parramatta in the Colony of New South Wales Widow of the late John Macarthur of Camden in the said Colony Esquire. First I desire that whatever may happen to be due to me at the time of my death, in respect of the annuities payable to me out of the Estate devised by the Will of the said John Macarthur, to our sons Edward Macarthur, James and William Macarthur respectively, shall be extinguished in favor of the then owners of the said Estate respectively, and [indecipherable] any further release and discharge of the said annuities and of arrears thereof (if any) shall be desired by any person entitled to the encumbered property, or any any part thereof, I authorise the Executors of this my Will to give every and any such release and discharge, as they may in their discretion see fit and expedient. And as to all my other Estate and effects I give and bequeath the same, unto my said three sons Edward James and William Macarthur, whom I appoint Executors of this my Will. And subject only to such Legacies as shall be specifically bequeathed by a Codicil or Codicils to be attached to this my Will, I desire that my said residency Estate and Effects shall be divided equally between my said three sons for their own respective use and benefit. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand, this tenth day of January one thousand eight hundred and forty four.
