[MS 161 Darkness - and on raise on the ruins of its Folly to the Praise of Free and Love [indecipherable] [indecipherable] grace the Noble Edifice of the Dear Redeemers Kingdom in the name and Strength of Jesus poor and Prosper - No doubt you have heard of the failure of the Mission at the Friendly Islands where they Murdered three of our Dear Brethener [Brethren] and the remainder was force'd to excavate the Island - The mission at Otaheite still stands its ground against all opersition and no doubt good is don [indecipherable] Island but bears no comparison with the - work of the Lord at your Station. The King as well as many of his subjects have learnt to spoke read & write English & the other day I received a letter from King Pomarre and I can assure you he writes a good hand - The Missionaries are geting into a thorow knowledge of their language customs and manners and it appears evident that many of the Natives are not so atatched to their superstitious ways or formally and who can tell but that the Lord is [indecipherable] Planting his field of grace in the hearts of the Poor Otaheitians of Otaheite which may ly dormant for a Time but Shall Spring up to the Praise of God [??] grace, first

Henry Fullon from Ierland who married Dr Warkens sister of Dublin he Preaches- at Sydney in the morning & at Parramatta in the afternoon Mr Crook Preaches Each Sunday morning in his own house Parramatta Bro Harris Preaches Each Lords Day at the Hawkesbury - and the writer at KIssingpoint Point one Sunday & at Castle Hill, alternately - Thus you see we spread over the Colony but we find that Paul may Plant and [?polo?] may water but God only can give the increase Dr Brethren Pray that we may have Patience like the labourous husbandman to wait till we see the fruits of our labour - and then we that
