My Dear Sir/ The Governor of this colony will not suffer a Still to be made or Use'd in this country on any account whatever and if any Person [indecipherable] off either Rich or Poor is found - Using or making a still he is ordered to Pay a great fine & sent out of the Country - Before I know your goodness will excues me for not sending you at still by this conveyance but if at some future time circumstances will Permit me to send you one depend upon it I will - I hope you'l write to me by every opportunity and if you want any thing I can possibly get I will do my endeavour to send it My wife joines in Remembrance to your Dear Queen, Our Old friend Mr
