No doubt you know of your brother Hancox marrying again. He married Eliz. Underhill who was formerly servant at Mr [Merridens?] & since with me. She is a pious person & I doubt not will make a good wife. As to my family. Mrs B has very poor health. This [indecipherable] I am in general tolerably well & generally preach 3 times day twice to my own congregation which is in Fratter Lane Holborn / where my father & brother were Deacons & I was brought up / and in the Evenings at some of the Chapels in or about London, of which there are more & more. I trust the word of the Lord runs & is glorified [indecipherable] in various denominations. My eldest Son has begun to preach the gospel acceptably & going to the University of Glasgow to finish his studies. My 2d Son John is in town selling goods for his master in Nottingham. My 3d son is 15 & I want a place for him. I have [indecipherable] girls also at home (or at school) I know you would wish to know my state. We have much to be thankful for & I am full of [indecipherable] in promoting the the work of the Lord in a way very agreeable to my wishes. Go on, my dear friend & do all you can for God and the [indecipherable] of men. The night cometh.
