Now that I am on the fault finding business let me get through with it in one fell sweep. Viv & Linda ! what do you mean neglecting me so shamefully eh? I suppose Viv is so busy galivanting with that young Tim. Don't deny it now you hussy. Linda my darling I did expect kinder treatment from you. (Beg pardon? Oh, you have written but I've not got it so there).
Jim, you're also under the ban. But as you are making a few good catches (not girls - cricket) & bagging a few wickets I forgive you.
Mabel dear, I'm so grateful to you for your little notes. But they have two glaring faults. Too few. Too short (You'll remedy that? Thanks)
You there Bill? How's the wife? Good. Give her my best love and say that when my present poverty stricken condition is somewhat alleviated, I will send her a nice oriental shawl or something to tie up her bonny brown hair.
Please miss Hello girl Switch me on to Viva & Ossy Brock. Thanks. Say too I was just tickled to ecstacy with your last letter but the dam (sorry) darn thing was too short. See that you do not offend again. Oh Ossy, are you listening. Well I hope you are jogging along merrily and pleasing the multitude (or the cultured few) with your pencil & brush. Hope to have another [indecipherable] down at [indecipherable] some day.
Who the divil is that cutting into my line. Eh
