My dear Everybodies:-
I've got such a lot to tell you that I don't know where to begin & I'm sure I'll never be able to stop.

First I'm progressing splendidly   & can now walk nicely with a stick though I'm thin as a match & very weak. So I'm able to have motor rides.

My first real glimpse of historic England (other than the train journey from Southampton)   was when I visited Hampton Court. Its a wonderful old place and I guess old Cardinal Wolsey must have dipped pretty deeply into some treasury to build such a magnificent palace. The court yards are fine, the windows unique & the gardens a treat. King Henry VIII 's private garden just tickled me to death. I could imagine the old monarch roaming round the gravelled  walks with Anne Boleyn.
