So sorry Mum has been ill. Give her my best love. I'm always thinking of her & the time will pass quickly till my return. I left 35/- per fortnight for Clarrie to draw and Mum can call on that as much as she needs.   Tell Pater I hope things are very well with him.   I'll have lots of wonderful things to tell him when I come home.   So sorry about Clarice Mac - give her my kind regards.   I am looking out for the parcel. It should be along shortly. I'm anxious to see Phils first knitting effort. Will send her a line when it comes. Thank her in anticipation for me.   Be a good sport and invent some nice messages for Ida Yardley and the gals from me.   By the bye, I wanted to see some of the photos. I suppose you will have sent them before this.

Re the 'nice letters from Ol', I spend   an hour every day getting arrears of   correspondence off my mind and while on the ship, I sure did write some.
Re Pearl. Seeing we were rushed away much sooner than we expected, I think I did my fair share of visiting.
